Cherry Casino is a pioneer in gambling. When founded in 1963, physical roulette tables and slot machines featuring cherries and other fruit symbols were the name of the game, but as early as in 2000 Cherry Casino launched one of the world’s first online casinos. Since then this very variable industry has grown enormously with new competitors turning up at a fast pace.

THE CHALLENGE

An extremely competitive industry, almost non-existent brand differentiation and an ongoing debate on casino advertising which was not to our advantage. These were just some of the challenges that Cherry Casino faced when they reached out to us.

SOLUTION

In the very generic market of online gaming sites, we helped Cherry Casino achieve a differentiating and memorable position through a new brand concept: Cherry Heads.

We connected Cherry Casino with a positive winning mentality. The joy you feel when winning at the casino was visualized by the winner’s head featured as a cherry.

This easily remembered concept, strongly connected to the brand name, was launched in TVC, OOH, digital and print.

IMPACT

Online gaming is extremely generic and loyalty to one brand is rare. Thanks to the strong branding concept, Cherry Casino’s top of mind skyrocketed. And with that revenue like never seen before.
