THE
BARGAINING
BANNER.

Client: Ticket | Category: Online campaign

When you’re on holiday in Turkey, part of the travel experience is to haggle with local merchants. We made that experience begin even as you were buying your trip to Turkey.

In interactive banners on Sweden's largest travel websites, you haggled with a virtual Turkish salesman. His reactions were based on what you offered for your trip. If he thought your bids were too low, he got angry and threw you out. Just like in real life.

The banner had a special algorithm which calculated the actual price that the consumer was prepared to pay, depending on the bids that were offered.

When both of you were satisfied with the deal, you could buy the trip for the price you had bargained for. The cleverest negotiator could lower the price on the trip from 900 euros to 400 euros.
